Meet your health care providers!
Jesse Bivens, ARNP
was raised in Port Orchard, and is proud to serve the community through Silverdale Primary Care. He enjoys interacting with patients, sharing their life stories, and working as part of a team. After graduating from Washington State University, Jesse went on to the University of Cincinnati, specializing as a family nurse practitioner and working for ten years in a hospital emergency room. Jesse is board-certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He is married with 4 young children, spends his free time chasing after them, as well as hiking, exercising, working around the house and participating in spontaneous family adventures.
Steffan R. Tolles, M.D., has been dedicated to practicing medicine in Kitsap County for over thirty years. He completed his medical doctorate at the University of Washington and has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians since 1983. Dr. Tolles takes care to ensure that each and every one of his patients not only receives the highest level of medical care but also are healthy in all aspects of their lives — phsically, emotionally and spiritually. His caring and commitment extend out into the community as well, as he has volunteered his time and medical expertise to youth groups and homeless shelters throughout the years. Dr. Tolles is married, has four children and enjoys living in Silverdale.
D. Kristy Asbell, MS, PA-C
joined Dr. Tolles practice in 2000 straight out of school with a Masters of Science from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. She left the practice in 2006 to raise her children and continued to work closer to home in Port Townsend. She has returned in 2016 and is happy to be back. It is very important to her that her patients feel taken care of as a whole body. Her interest includes pediatrics, office procedures, neurology and psychiatry. She is very active in her community and the school systems and loves the outdoors. Kristy is married, has two beautiful girls and enjoys living in Port Townsend.
